A pale stone-beige ground carries a repeating arrangement of cool blue-grey stems, flowers and bird motifs, picked out with quiet ochre details. The finely textured surface gives the colourway a softly weathered, natural depth.

About this fabric

The cool blue-grey drawing sits gently against the warm stone-beige ground, while small ochre accents add definition without making the design feel bright or saturated. Alderwood Soft Blue is composed of 65% linen and 35% rayon, with a 132 cm (51.86") width. Its vertical pattern repeat is 40 cm (15.71") and its horizontal pattern repeat is 66 cm (25.93"). Specified for curtains and bedspreads, it must not be washed, bleached or ironed and requires professional dry cleaning.

How to use it

Use this cool, softened colourway for curtains or a bedspread in a room with pale timber, chalky neutrals and brushed metal. The stone-beige ground keeps the blue-grey florals calm, while the ochre touches can be echoed in small decorative accents.
