Sudbury Red

Caspian FabricBF10937.1

Sudbury Red brings richly drawn botanical flowers to a warm cream ground, combining coral-red blooms with muted sage, blue-grey and brown details. The softly textured surface gives the pattern a grounded, textile-like character.

About this fabric

This Caspian fabric is made from 75% linen, 19% viscose and 6% polyester, with a 128 cm width. Its winding brown stems carry layered coral-red and dusty rose flowers, small blue-grey blossoms, sage leaves and delicate terracotta accents across the cream background. The design has a 79 cm vertical repeat and a 128 cm horizontal repeat, allowing the branching arrangement to read clearly in larger curtain drops. It is specified for curtains and bedspreads and must be professionally dry cleaned rather than washed, bleached or ironed.

How to use it

Use Sudbury Red for full-length curtains where its warm coral flowers can stand out against the cream ground, or carry the pattern onto a bedspread in a room with sage, weathered blue and natural timber accents. Keep surrounding upholstery relatively quiet so the winding botanical layout remains the focal point.

A softly textured floral suitable for curtains and bedspreads, with warm red blooms set against a cream ground.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
