Barbonne Spice has a warm cream ground carrying scrolling botanical stems, stylised leaves and layered flowers in terracotta, olive, sage and muted teal. The closely spaced repeat gives the design a richly illustrated, garden-inspired character.

About this fabric

The visible pattern combines curling olive stems with lotus-like blooms, outlined leaves and small berry-like details, while the spice-red and blue-green accents bring depth against the pale ground. Its balanced, fine-textured appearance suits the supplied usage of curtains and bedspreads without overwhelming the room. The fabric is 128 cm wide, with a 58 cm vertical pattern repeat and a 64 cm horizontal repeat. It is made from 25% cotton, 37% linen and 38% acrylic, and must be professionally dry cleaned rather than washed, bleached or ironed.

How to use it

Pair Barbonne Spice with warm natural woods, olive upholstery and muted teal details to draw out the botanical colours; its cream ground also keeps a patterned curtain or bedspread feeling light.
