About this fabric
The stripe arrangement moves between deep wine and burgundy, cool teal, dark green, warm ochre, muted lilac and charcoal-brown lines, creating a layered jewel-toned effect rather than a single dominant shade. The subtle woven texture catches the light differently across the narrow bands, adding depth to the strong vertical design. Made from 45% cotton and 55% viscose, the 136 cm fabric is suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. A 35,000 Martindale rub test supports its use on frequently handled upholstered pieces.
How to use it
Use the burgundy and plum tones to enrich a traditional sitting room, while the teal and green stripes can connect with painted cabinetry or deeper accent upholstery. The vertical layout is especially effective on curtains, headboards and tailored seating where the full colour sequence can be seen.
A richly coloured striped textile with the durability for upholstery and the vertical rhythm to frame curtains or bedspreads.

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Cardinal Stripe Jewel without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
