Silken Typhoon

Silken Fabric

Silken Typhoon is a quiet blue-grey textile with a closely woven surface and soft, uneven tonal variation. Its cool colour shifts gently across the swatch rather than reading as a flat solid.

About this fabric

The fabric appears finely woven, with a restrained horizontal grain that gives the blue-grey ground a tactile, lightly textured character. Subtle darker and paler threads create a muted, weathered depth without introducing a visible motif. This colourway feels cool, composed and smart, with enough tonal movement to avoid looking stark. No performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Use Silken Typhoon to bring a calm, cool blue-grey note to an upholstered chair, sofa or full-length curtain, balancing it with warm wood or soft off-white walls.

Pair the cool blue-grey tone with pale timber, chalky neutrals or darker charcoal accents.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
