About this fabric

The colour sits between midnight blue and blue-grey, with a muted depth rather than a bright or saturated finish. A tightly packed, even weave gives the surface a subtly nubby appearance, while the low sheen keeps the fabric feeling calm and understated. The darker yarn variation helps the indigo read as dimensional instead of flat in the close-up image. No performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Use this cool indigo-blue in a contemporary room where its charcoal undertone can anchor pale stone, warm timber or softer blue accents. The restrained plain weave also works well on a tailored chair, sofa or full-length curtain where texture matters more than pattern.

A cool, deep indigo plain weave that brings quiet depth to contemporary upholstery, cushions or curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
