Flanders Mole

Timeless Plains Fabric

Flanders Mole is a deep, muted olive-grey textile with a quiet, almost charcoal depth. Its close plain weave is enlivened by fine tonal variation across the surface rather than by a printed motif.

About this fabric

The image shows a closely woven plain fabric in a dark mole shade that sits between olive green and softened grey. Fine horizontal and vertical threads create a restrained, subtly tactile texture, while the low-contrast surface keeps the colour composed rather than vivid. The shade appears marginally lighter where the weave catches the light, giving the otherwise even ground gentle depth. No performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Use Flanders Mole to give a room a grounded, tailored feel, especially alongside warm timber, aged leather or pale stone. Its muted olive-grey tone can also work as a calm drapery colour where a softer alternative to charcoal is wanted.

The deep olive-grey plain weave brings quiet depth to tailored upholstery or softly structured drapery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
