Veranda Fabric

Veranda Ticking Indigo is a cool, deep indigo-blue fabric marked by evenly spaced pale vertical stripes. Its close-up surface reveals a subtle woven texture that softens the contrast between ground and stripe.

About this fabric

The indigo ground has a muted, blue-black depth rather than a bright or strongly saturated navy appearance. Narrow pale stripes run vertically across the cloth, with fine darker edging that gives each band a neatly defined ticking character. A lightly irregular woven surface is visible within both the ground and stripes, adding quiet tactile variation without disrupting the clean linear pattern. As a catalogued fabric, this colourway offers a tailored look through its disciplined stripe and restrained contrast.

How to use it

Use the cool indigo tone to bring depth to a light, neutral room, particularly on a tailored armchair, bench or simple curtain. Pair it with chalky whites, warm oak and soft grey-blue accents to echo the pale stripes without competing with them.

A smart, versatile ticking stripe in cool indigo and pale contrast, suitable for tailored upholstery or relaxed window treatments.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
