Marleton Wallpaper Delft

Naturals II Wallpaper20462-03

Marleton Wallpaper Delft has a cool, pale blue-grey ground with fine horizontal striations running across the surface. Subtle variation between misty blue, soft grey and warmer pale fibres gives the wallcovering a gently weathered depth.

About this wallpaper

The Delft colourway is visibly restrained rather than saturated, with blue-grey lines softened by pale grey and cream-like flecks. Its close, irregular horizontal texture creates movement without a distinct ornamental motif, so the surface reads as quietly linear from a distance. Supplied as a wallpaper with a composition of 97% paper and 3% cotton, it has an approximately 0cm vertical and horizontal repeat. The fine tonal shifts catch the light lightly, keeping this cool colourway calm and understated on the wall.

How to use it

Use Delft across a bedroom, study or softly furnished sitting room where its cool blue-grey tone can sit alongside chalky whites, pale timber and brushed metal. Its almost patternless horizontal texture is particularly effective on larger wall areas when a quiet backdrop is preferred.

Use this cool blue-grey wallcovering to add quiet horizontal texture to calm, contemporary or coastal schemes.

Pairs well with

Marleton Wallpaper Delft is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
