About this fabric

This colourway shows a pale, old-blue tone with a greyed softness that sits neatly between blue and neutral. The fabric is woven in a small-scale, evenly spaced texture, so the surface catches the light with a gentle, clothlike grain rather than a shiny finish. In the Medora collection by Colefax and Fowler, it is supplied at approximately 139cm wide and composed of 36% viscose, 30% cotton, 28% linen and 6% polyester. The repeat is very fine at approximately V 1cm / H 1cm, which supports the orderly, understated look visible here. With no performance features noted, it feels best suited to interiors where the colour and weave are the focus.

How to use it

Use it on upholstered occasional chairs, cushions or Roman blinds where the muted blue can bring a cool, tailored note. It pairs especially well with chalk whites, pale oak and brushed nickel for a fresh, quietly formal scheme.
