Erith Stone has a softly speckled, woven surface in a warm stone-beige tone. The small repeat gives it a calm, finely textured look that reads quietly tailored rather than plain.

About this fabric

This Medora fabric from Colefax and Fowler is woven in 36% viscose, 30% cotton, 28% linen and 6% polyester, with an approximate width of 139cm and a repeat of V 1cm / H 1cm approx. In Erith Stone, the palette sits in a muted beige with creamy highlights and a gentle linen-like fleck through the ground. The close, small-scale pattern creates a refined, low-contrast texture that feels steady and composed. Its dry, cloth-like appearance and balanced body make it suitable for either upholstery or drapery, depending on the finish of the scheme.

How to use it

Use Erith Stone to soften a pared-back interior, especially alongside oak, chalk white and muted taupe. It works well where you want the warmth of beige without a heavy or yellow cast.

An easy neutral for tailored upholstery or softly lined drapery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
