Erith Forest

Medora FabricF4792-02

Erith Forest is a soft sage-green Medora fabric with a fine, woven surface that reads calm and tailored. The small-scale pattern settles into the cloth rather than sitting boldly on top of it.

About this fabric

This colourway shows a muted green ground with a pale, slightly warm cast, broken by tiny darker flecks that give the weave a natural, textured look. The repeat is approximately 1cm vertically and 1cm horizontally, so the pattern stays discreet and close at hand. With a width of approximately 139cm and a composition of 36% viscose, 30% cotton, 28% linen and 6% polyester, it has the feel of a versatile woven textile rather than a flat print. The overall effect is refined but not formal, with enough surface movement to keep the shade from feeling static.

How to use it

Use it where you want colour without brightness: on an armchair, banquette or ottoman it will sit comfortably beside oak, chalky paintwork and brass. It also suits curtains in rooms that need a gentle green that stays grounded and easy to live with.

A muted sage tone that works neatly on tailored upholstery or relaxed curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
