About this fabric

Erith Blue from the Medora collection by Colefax and Fowler is a fabric with a very small repeat of approximately V 1cm / H 1cm and a width of approximately 139cm. Its blend of 36% viscose, 30% cotton, 28% linen and 6% polyester gives the swatch a lightly structured handle and a softly dappled face. In this colourway the blue sits in a restrained, pale mid-tone, lifted by the linen and cotton character so the surface looks fresh rather than icy. The tiny woven pattern catches the light with a subtle chalky movement, making the cloth feel tailored and calm.

How to use it

Use Erith Blue for smart cushions, relaxed upholstery or tailored curtains where a cool, quiet blue is needed. It pairs especially well with pale oak, off-white paint and brushed metals for a clean, coastal-leaning scheme.

A cool, versatile blue with a tight weave that works neatly on seating or curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
