About this fabric

Woven in 40% Linen, 36% Viscose and 24% Silk, this fabric has a refined handle and a softly lustrous surface that suits its decorative damask pattern. The old blue ground appears cool and powdery, while the raised gold motif gives the cloth a faded, heirloom character. With an approximate 71cm vertical and horizontal repeat and an approximate width of 142cm, it is a substantial patterned textile with a balanced, formal rhythm. The combination of linen texture and silk sheen keeps the surface lively rather than flat.

How to use it

Use it for curtains, occasional chairs or a structured headboard where the muted blue will add calm and the gold pattern can catch afternoon light. It works especially well with pale woods, chalky neutrals and aged brass.
