About this fabric

Lucius Bronze is a fabric from the Marius collection by Colefax and Fowler, woven in 42% Linen, 38% Viscose and 20% Silk. The cloth measures approximately 128cm wide and has a repeat of V 97cm / H 64cm approx, making the large damask layout feel generous and architectural. In this colourway, the ground reads as soft ivory-beige while the pattern sits in muted bronze, taupe and pale gold notes, so the overall effect is warm rather than stark. The weave appears smooth and lightly lustrous, with the motif taking on a chalkier outline where the light skims the surface. With no performance features noted and a formal decorative look, it suits statement curtains or upholstered pieces where the pattern can be shown to best effect.
