Blakeney Sand

Marldon FabricF3731-05

Blakeney Sand is a softly tailored weave in a warm sand-beige that reads calm and understated. The fine chevron effect gives the cloth gentle movement without breaking its quiet overall tone.

About this fabric

Blakeney Sand from the Marldon collection by Colefax and Fowler is composed of 67% cotton and 33% viscose, with an approximate width of 142cm and a vertical repeat of 0cm / horizontal repeat of 5cm. The fabric shows a neat, small-scale chevron or herringbone-like stripe, working in closely related beige and taupe threads that keep the surface low-contrast and refined. The result is a dry, textural look with just enough depth to catch the light softly rather than shine. With no performance features noted and a CM fire code, it feels suited to considered interior schemes where texture matters more than pattern impact.

How to use it

Use this sand colourway on an armchair, banquette, or cushion scheme where a warm neutral with subtle pattern will quietly lift the room. It pairs especially well with oak, chalky paint finishes, and deeper brown or olive accents.

A quietly tailored sand tone that works beautifully across upholstery and soft furnishings.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
