About this fabric

The background reads as a warm, chalky beige, while each sheep is picked out in subdued taupe, brown and grey with lightly mottled detail. Fine horizontal and vertical texture is visible across the cloth, giving the pale ground a quietly tactile appearance rather than a flat finish. The medium-scale animal pattern is clearly distributed across the swatch, with sheep facing in alternating directions and small ground marks beneath their feet.
