About this fabric

This colourway combines a cool grey ground with pewter and warm ivory ornament, giving the design a restrained, low-contrast depth. Curling foliage, paisley forms, stylised flowers and small scattered sprigs interlock across the swatch in a dense, highly detailed repeat. The pattern has a 64 cm vertical repeat and no horizontal repeat, allowing the climbing botanical forms to set the direction of the design. It has a 52 cm usable width, a 10.05 m standard length and a specified weight of 185 gsm.

How to use it

Use Indian Grey/Pewter where a room needs pattern without strong colour contrast: it pairs naturally with chalky whites, pale stone, soft taupe and weathered timber. Its cool grey tone is particularly effective on walls that benefit from a calm, layered backdrop.

Use this cool grey-pewter ground to bring quiet depth to rooms with ivory, stone or natural timber accents.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
