About this fabric

This colourway is built from a close, pixel-like weave that blends blush pink, dusty beige and muted taupe into a restrained, textural finish. The fabric is supplied at approximately 140cm wide and composed of 39% viscose, 37% cotton, 18% linen and 6% polyester, giving it a dry, woven handle with a subtle softening from the viscose. With a vertical and horizontal repeat of 0cm approx, the design reads as a plain-textured ground rather than a patterned repeat. Rose Ancien feels warmer than a cool blush, with enough beige in the blend to keep it calm and sophisticated. The result is a versatile upholstery or drapery cloth with a smart, understated character.

How to use it

Use Rose Ancien on a tailored armchair, occasional sofa or relaxed curtain where its muted pink-beige tone can soften stone, walnut or aged brass. It works especially well in rooms that need colour, but only in a quiet, dusted form.
