About this fabric

Printed on 100% polyester, this fabric is suitable for general domestic upholstery and drapes, and its 25,000 rub test gives it practical everyday versatility. The 133cm width and substantial 546 grams per linear metre make it feel like a proper furnishing cloth rather than a flimsy decorative print. Visually, the olive background is soft and earthy, with the branches, leaves and animal motifs standing out in coral, teal, white and warm green. The overall effect is lush and conversational, with the darker ground keeping the tropical pattern feeling composed and wearable in a home interior.

How to use it

Use Bengal Olive on an occasional chair, ottoman or statement curtains where the muted olive ground can calm the brightness of the tiger-and-foliage motif. It pairs well with timber, cane, brass and natural linens for a layered, collected look.

The olive ground gives this lively jungle print a more grounded, tailored feel.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
