About this fabric

The image shows a close, even velvet surface with no visible motif, allowing the olive colour to define the design. Light catches the raised surface differently along each fold, creating soft tonal movement from mossy highlights to deeper khaki-green shadows. As a catalogued Velvet, it has the plush visual character associated with upholstery fabrics, while the gathered drape in the image demonstrates a supple handle. The overall effect is quietly luxurious, with depth coming from the shade and changing nap direction rather than pattern.

How to use it

Use this muted olive colour on a sofa, headboard or occasional chair where its moss-and-khaki depth can sit comfortably with warm wood, natural linen and aged brass. Keep surrounding patterns restrained so the velvet’s shifting surface remains the focus.
