Moray Mink is a muted taupe woven fabric with a gentle pink cast and a finely crosshatched surface. Its understated texture gives the plain colour soft visual depth rather than a flat finish.

About this fabric

The surface combines fine horizontal and vertical yarn lines, creating a subtle woven grid that is especially visible across the pale mink ground. The colour reads as a quiet pink taupe, softened by cool grey-beige threads and low tonal contrast. At 509gsm and 139cm usable width, it has the substantial presence expected of an upholstery textile. Both the vertical and horizontal pattern repeats are 0cm, while the standard length is 40m, making this a non-directional plain weave with no motif to align.

How to use it

Pair Moray Mink with chalky whites, warm stone and soft grey in a calm, layered scheme. Its restrained pink undertone works particularly well on an upholstered headboard, armchair or sofa where the crosshatched weave can be seen close up.

Use this softly pinkened taupe on substantial upholstery where its quiet woven texture can add depth without a visible pattern.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
