Florenzo Hessian

Tuscany Book Collection FabricFLORENZO

Florenzo Hessian is a softly woven plain in a warm hessian beige, with a calm, dry-looking surface that reads natural and understated. The close-up shows a subtle linen-like texture with gentle tonal variation rather than a flat, uniform finish.

About this fabric

Part of the Tuscany Book Collection by Ashley Wilde, Florenzo Hessian is specified for severe contract upholstery and drapes, with a 40,000 rub test and a 140cm width. Its 54% polyester, 36% viscose and 10% linen composition gives the cloth a poised balance between structure and a softer, more breathable look. Visually, this colourway sits in a muted beige-hessian range with a light golden warmth, softened by the matte, slightly slubby weave. The surface catches the light quietly, so the fabric feels refined rather than shiny or heavy.

How to use it

Use this warm beige as an easy grounding neutral on armchairs, banquettes or layered curtains where a natural tone is wanted without going cold. It pairs especially well with oak, limestone, terracotta and deeper olive accents.

A quietly textured neutral that works beautifully across seating and soft furnishing schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
