About this fabric

From the Starlette Collection by Ashley Wilde, Marsa Fawn is a 100% polyester fabric made for drapes only and produced in India. The cloth measures 140cm wide and has a weight of 252g per linear metre, or 180g per square metre, with no performance finish noted and no rub test result supplied. Visually, the swatch shows a pale fawn-beige ground with a faint woven shimmer and slender vertical striations that catch the light without looking shiny. The overall effect is warm, muted and understated, with just enough texture to keep the surface from feeling flat.

How to use it

Use this colourway where you want a soft, lifted neutral that still feels tailored, especially in rooms with oak, limestone or brushed brass. Its warm beige cast works particularly well against deeper taupes, biscuit tones and muted greens.

A subtle warm neutral that adds softness without stealing attention.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Marsa Fawn without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
