Kimino blue
Kyotogardens Fabrickimino/fa1/cob
Kimino Blue shows a loose, painterly leaf design in watery aqua, teal and pale blue across a light ground. The overall effect is fresh and airy, with softly brushed edges that keep the pattern feeling fluid rather than sharp.

About this fabric
This fabric is composed of 82% viscose and 18% cotton, with a width of 138cm, a usable width of 133cm and a weight of 117gsm, making it a light decorative textile suited to curtains, blinds and soft furnishings. The leaf motif is large in scale, with a 66.5cm horizontal repeat and 63cm vertical repeat, so the pattern reads as an expansive botanical scatter rather than a tight repeat. In this Kimino Blue colourway, cool aqua and blue-green tones are tempered by pale grey-white leaves and occasional deeper teal shadows, giving the design a calm, slightly misted look. The fabric has a soft, sketchy finish that catches the light gently, which suits relaxed interior schemes. Dry clean only and do not iron.
How to use it
Use Kimino Blue to bring a crisp, coastal freshness to a bedroom, sunroom or open-plan living space. It pairs well with pale timber, white paintwork and muted stone tones that let the blue-green leaf shapes stand out.
Airy painterly leaves give this cool blue colourway an easy, fresh feel for curtains or statement upholstery accents.

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Kimino blue without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
