Roseum Blue has a hazy, watercolour quality, with large painterly blooms softened by a cool blue-grey ground. The palette feels airy and subdued, giving the design a gentle, light-washed finish.

About this fabric

Woven in 82% viscose and 18% linen, this fabric has a fluid, softly textured handle that suits curtains, blinds and soft furnishings. The visible surface reads as a fine linen-blend weave beneath brushed floral forms, with the design spread across the full 136cm width and repeating every 136cm horizontally and 100cm vertically. Roseum Blue is not a strong saturated blue; instead it sits in a misty, silvery blue tone with touches of sage, lilac and chalk white that keep the pattern calm. Dry clean only and do not iron, it is best chosen for decorative schemes where the painterly surface can take centre stage.

How to use it

Use Roseum Blue in a bedroom or sitting room where its cool, diffused colour can soften stronger furnishings. It works especially well with brushed oak, pale grey upholstery and pared-back linens.

Pair with pale woods and chalky neutrals to let the cool, painterly blooms feel airy and refined.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
