About this fabric

This colourway reads as a cool, fresh blue with a softly muted turquoise cast, broken up by creamy white grounds and finer grey-green threads. The woven surface has a tactile, slightly slubby character that suits the fabric’s 55% cotton, 24% viscose, 12% linen, 7% acrylic and 2% polyester composition. At 930gsm and with a 20,000 Martindale rating, it has the substance for upholstery as well as curtains and blinds, while the 140cm usable width gives good coverage for larger projects. The 70cm horizontal and 23.5cm vertical pattern repeats create a clear blocky rhythm that feels structured without looking rigid. Dry clean only and dry iron, this is a practical decorative fabric with a crisp, contemporary lift.

How to use it

The cool aqua tones work especially well against white plaster, pale timber and brushed chrome, where the pattern’s light grounds can breathe. Use it on an accent chair or Roman blinds to bring a fresh, relaxed edge to a room.

Use with pale oak, chalk white and soft grey for a crisp coastal feel.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
