Geneva cream

Katsura Fabricgeneva/fa1/mus

Geneva Cream shows Katsura’s woven stripes and textural bands in a warm, understated neutral palette. The cream ground is lifted by taupe, brown and soft teal flecks that give the fabric depth without sharpening the contrast.

About this fabric

This colourway combines a softly aged cream base with earthy taupe and chocolate stripe detailing, so the pattern reads calm rather than crisp. The woven surface has a substantial, tactile feel that suits the fabric’s 930 gsm weight and versatile 140 cm usable width. Made from 55% cotton, 24% viscose, 12% linen, 7% acrylic and 2% polyester, it has enough body for upholstery while still working well for curtains and blinds. With a 20,000 martindale rating, dry-clean-only care and a dry iron finish, it is a practical decorative textile with a natural, layered look.

How to use it

Use Geneva Cream on an upholstered armchair or headboard where its muted stripe can add structure without overpowering the room. It also works beautifully as a curtain in a soft neutral scheme, especially alongside wood, bronze and stone finishes.

Layer with timber, linen and muted green accents to bring out its woven contrast.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
