Imaginations Fabricupandaw/fa1/sky

Upandaway Blue brings a light, airy sky-blue ground to the Imaginations collection, scattered with whimsical hot-air balloons and floating clouds. The print feels cheerful and spacious, with the pale background keeping the design fresh rather than overpowering.

About this fabric

This Voyage Maison fabric is composed of 95% cotton and 5% linen, with a usable width of 138cm and a weight of 230gsm, making it a versatile mid-weight textile for curtains, blinds and soft furnishings. The soft blue background gives the hand-drawn balloon motif a breezy, uplifting feel, while the pastel pink, mint and lilac details add gentle contrast without losing the calm overall tone. The woven texture visible in the swatch softens the print and helps the colour read as muted and powdery rather than bright or harsh. With a horizontal pattern repeat of 46cm and vertical repeat of 70cm, the design has enough scale to feel decorative while still sitting comfortably in relaxed interiors.

How to use it

Use this colourway in a child-friendly room, guest bedroom or airy sitting room where the sky-blue ground can keep the scheme feeling light. It works especially well with white-painted woodwork, washed oak and accents pulled from the balloon details, such as pale green and blush pink.

Pairs well with crisp white, pale green and soft pink accents for a cheerful scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
