About this fabric

Woven in a 95% cotton and 5% linen blend, this 230gsm fabric has enough body for soft furnishings while still suiting curtains and blinds, as listed in the specification. The print shows a delicate, storybook balloon scene with fine linework and lightly textured ground, giving the cloth a gently artisanal feel. In this colourway, the orange is softened into apricot and terracotta notes rather than a sharp citrus shade, so it reads warm but not overpowering. The pale blue background keeps the overall effect airy, while the 46cm horizontal repeat and 70cm vertical repeat support the design’s generous scale.

How to use it

Use it for relaxed curtains or Roman blinds where the soft orange balloons can brighten a calm blue, cream, or natural-toned room. It also works well for accent cushions or a statement armchair in a child’s room, snug, or playful sitting room.

A playful sky-blue ground with warm apricot hot air balloons brings a cheerful, lighthearted feel.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
