Florabunda orange

Florabunda Fabricflorabu/fa1/rus

Florabunda Orange shows a lively scatter of meadow flowers in warm apricot, pink, yellow and purple across a pale, misty ground. The overall effect is fresh and painterly, with the orange blooms giving the design its brightest note.

About this fabric

Woven in a 95% cotton and 5% linen blend, this 230gsm fabric has enough body for curtains, blinds and soft furnishings while still feeling suitably light in the hand. The ground reads as a soft grey-green, which lets the coral-orange flower heads and mauve spires stand forward without looking harsh. Fine woven texture is visible beneath the print, giving the surface a slightly natural, textile-led character. It is iron safe and dry clean only, with a horizontal pattern repeat of 69cm and a vertical repeat of 52.6cm. The result is a colourful floral fabric that feels decorative rather than heavy, with a relaxed country-house mood.

How to use it

This colourway works well in rooms that need warmth without too much saturation, especially against painted woodwork in sage, stone or off-white. Use it for full-length curtains or Roman blinds to bring the orange and lilac details into focus.

Use for statement curtains or cushions where the warm orange blooms can stand out against the pale ground.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Florabunda orange without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
