Eildon orange

Ettrick Fabriceildon/fa1/amb

Eildon Orange brings a soft terracotta ground to the Ettrick design, with pale leafy stems drifting across the surface in a calm, airy repeat. The result feels warm and botanical without becoming overly bright.

About this fabric

Woven in 95% cotton and 5% linen, this 230gsm fabric has enough substance for curtains, blinds and soft furnishings, while still keeping a relaxed handle. The orange ground reads as a muted terracotta rather than a clear citrus shade, giving the pale leaf motif a fresh contrast. The botanical stems sit across the cloth in a large repeat of 46cm horizontally and 50cm vertically, creating a generous, trailing pattern. Dry clean only and iron safe, it is a practical decorative textile with a natural-looking weave and a softly textured finish.

How to use it

Use this colourway where you want warmth and pattern without heaviness: it works especially well in sitting rooms, garden rooms and bedrooms with oak, sisal or stone tones. The softened orange base also pairs neatly with sage, cream and weathered green accents.

Pair with warm neutrals and weathered woods to let the leaf motif and soft terracotta ground feel inviting.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
