About this fabric

Woven in 95% cotton and 5% linen, this Ettrick fabric has a natural handle and a softly textured surface that suits curtains, blinds and other soft furnishings. The 230gsm weight and 138cm usable width make it a versatile mid-weight textile, and the 46cm horizontal by 50cm vertical repeat gives the trailing leaf design a gentle, rhythmic flow. In this Eildon Green colourway, the ground reads as a muted sage with a cool, misted quality, while the leaf motif appears in pale ivory and silver-grey for a lightly weathered finish. Dry clean only and iron safe, it is practical for made-up window treatments where a relaxed but polished look is wanted.

How to use it

Use Eildon Green to bring a soft botanical note to country-inspired rooms, especially with pale timber, chalky paintwork and linen upholstery. Its cool sage tone also works well in light-filled spaces where the silvery leaves can catch daylight.

A fresh sage ground with silvery leaf motifs suits relaxed country interiors and tailored drapery alike.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
