Eildon yellow
Ettrick Fabriceildon/fa1/gol
Eildon Yellow brings a warm mustard ground to the Ettrick botanical print, with pale leaf trails that sit crisply against the woven surface. The overall effect is airy but grounded, with the pattern reading clearly without feeling heavy.

About this fabric
Woven in 95% cotton and 5% linen, this 230gsm fabric has enough body for curtains, blinds and soft furnishings while still keeping a soft, approachable handle. The yellow ground is a muted mustard tone rather than a bright citrus shade, giving the leaf design a mellow, sun-warmed look. Pale grey-green and off-white foliage lifts across the surface, with the slub of the cloth adding a subtle rustic texture that suits the natural palette. The 46cm horizontal and 50cm vertical pattern repeats give the design a relaxed, free-flowing rhythm that works well in larger drops. Dry clean only and iron safe, it offers a practical decorative finish without fire-retardant treatment.
How to use it
Use this colourway in rooms that need warmth without heaviness: it sits beautifully with pale timber, stone, and soft grey upholstery. The mustard ground makes the botanical pattern feel inviting, so it works especially well as tailored curtains or relaxed Roman blinds.
Pair with warm oak and chalky neutrals to let the leaf motif and golden ground stay light and fresh.

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Eildon yellow without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
