About this colour

At #495048, this is a cool-leaning green softened by grey, so it reads as muted rather than bright. In north-facing light it can feel darker and more restrained, with its woodland side coming forward; in south-facing rooms it opens a little and shows more of its green undertone. The shade absorbs plenty of light, which gives interior walls and ceilings a calm, enveloping presence.
