Crossroads Green

G P & J Baker X Kit Kemp II FabricBP11140.3

Crossroads Green reads as a muted moss-olive shade, lifted by fine pale threads that define its compact geometric structure. The close basket-like weave gives the surface a softly tactile, quietly graphic character.

About this fabric

The face features small interlocking rectangular blocks, with fine ribbed lines changing direction across the olive-green ground. Pale green and natural-looking threads bring gentle contrast, while the woven construction gives the pattern more depth than a flat print. Made from 55% cotton and 45% linen, the fabric is 135 cm wide and suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. Its 26 cm vertical repeat and 27 cm horizontal repeat should be considered when planning pattern placement and joins.

How to use it

Use the softened olive tone to bring depth to a relaxed sitting room, either on a tailored chair or sofa with warm neutrals, or as curtains that echo leafy green accents. The small-scale weave also works well across bedspreads where its subtle directional texture can be appreciated up close.

A softly structured olive-green weave for relaxed upholstery, curtains and coordinated bedspreads.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Crossroads Green without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
