Cloudline Blue/Green

G P & J Baker X Kit Kemp II FabricBP11138.2

Cloudline Blue/Green brings fine vertical rhythm to a pale natural ground, with narrow blue and green lines changing subtly in depth across the cloth. The close-set stripes give the colourway a cool, quietly coastal character rather than a high-contrast graphic effect.

About this fabric

The visible design is made from slim vertical stripes in softened blue, blue-green and muted green, separated by warm cream and flax-like lines. Its woven surface has a gently irregular, tactile appearance, allowing the pale ground to soften the darker stripes. Made from 80% cotton and 20% hemp, the fabric is 136 cm (53.43") wide and has a 17 cm (6.68") horizontal pattern repeat. It is suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads; after care requires professional dry cleaning, with no washing, bleaching or ironing.

How to use it

Use the cool blue-green stripes on a loose-covered sofa or upholstered headboard alongside pale timber, chalky walls and natural linens. As curtains or a bedspread, the narrow vertical lines add height while the warm ground keeps the scheme relaxed rather than stark.

A softly textured blue-green stripe with a natural ground, equally suited to relaxed upholstery, curtains and bedspreads.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
