About this fabric

The design is arranged in alternating squares, bringing together delicate yellow flower stems, tiny blue sprig motifs and narrow vertical indigo stripes. The cool, slightly softened indigo contrasts with the warm cream ground, while the yellow flowers provide a clear, sunny accent rather than an all-over saturated colour. Woven from 90% cotton and 10% linen, the fabric is 140 cm (55") wide, with a 36 cm (14.14") vertical repeat and a 35 cm (13.75") horizontal repeat. It is suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads; professional dry cleaning is required, and it must not be washed, bleached or ironed.

How to use it

Use the cream and indigo balance to bring pattern to a relaxed armchair, headboard or full-length curtains, then echo the warm yellow flowers with a small cushion or painted accent. The neatly repeated squares also suit a country-inspired bedroom or informal sitting room.

A cheerful indigo, cream and yellow patchwork for relaxed curtains, upholstery and bedspreads.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
