Forget-me-not Teal/Spice

G P & J Baker X Kit Kemp II FabricBP11137.4

Forget-me-not Teal/Spice combines faded teal striping with cream patchwork squares and small, hand-drawn-looking flowers in warm spice tones. The result is a softly graphic textile with a distinctly collected, botanical character.

About this fabric

The woven design alternates vertical teal stripes, cream squares, tiny green sprigs and floral motifs picked out in red, coral, mustard and olive. Its 36 cm vertical repeat and 35 cm horizontal repeat create a clearly measured patchwork layout rather than an all-over scattered print. Made from 90% cotton and 10% linen, the fabric is 140 cm (55") wide and is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. The muted teal gives the colourway a cool base, while the spice-coloured flowers bring a small but lively warmth across the cream ground.

How to use it

Use the teal-and-cream grid on a relaxed armchair, headboard or bedspread, then echo the spice red and mustard flowers in cushions or painted accents. As curtains, its ordered repeat will bring pattern without overwhelming a room.

A relaxed patchwork floral for curtains, upholstery and bedspreads, with muted teal stripes adding graphic structure.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
