Forget-me-not Blue combines a cool, softened blue ground with cream rectangular panels, fine blue striping and small yellow flower sprays. The repeating layout has a neat, hand-drawn character, while the warm yellow details keep the colourway from feeling cold.

About this fabric

This 90% cotton, 10% linen fabric is 140 cm wide and features a structured repeat of striped blue panels, cream floral squares and smaller blue sprig motifs. The vertical pattern repeat is 36 cm and the horizontal repeat is 35 cm, giving the design a clear medium-scale rhythm across the cloth. In this colourway, the blue reads light and slightly muted rather than saturated, with yellow star-like flowers providing precise points of warmth. It is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads, and should be professionally dry cleaned rather than washed.

How to use it

Use the cool blue-and-cream ground on a relaxed armchair, headboard or full-length curtain, then pick up the small yellow flowers with ochre cushions or painted wood. Its regular grid also suits a simple bedspread where the striped and floral panels can be read clearly.
