About this fabric

The small repeat combines rounded red and blush floral heads with fine olive-green stems and curling foliage, arranged in neat vertical rows across the linen ground. Its warm ivory background keeps the overall effect light, while the subdued red and green provide gentle definition rather than strong contrast. Made from 100% linen, the fabric is 133 cm (52.25") wide and has a 20 cm (7.86") vertical repeat with a 19 cm (7.46") horizontal repeat. It is suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads; care is professional dry cleaning only, with no washing, bleaching or ironing.

How to use it

Use this warm, muted colourway on a reading-chair cushion, occasional upholstery or relaxed curtains alongside painted creams, aged wood and olive accents. The close floral scale also makes it practical for bedspreads where a softly decorative surface is wanted without a large, dominant motif.

A finely patterned linen with a warm, softly faded red-and-green palette for curtains, upholstery and bedspreads.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
