Symington Teal/Red combines a pale cream ground with narrow coral-red lines and cool teal leafy sprigs arranged in closely spaced vertical stripes. The light background keeps the pattern airy, while the teal gives the colourway a cooler, gently shaded character.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% cotton, this 137 cm-wide fabric shows a small-scale vertical floral stripe with teal foliage set between slim coral-red lines. Its vertical pattern repeat is 25 cm and its horizontal repeat is 19.5 cm, keeping the sprigs and stripes closely paced across the cloth. The cream base softens the contrast between the cool blue-green leaves and the warmer red accents, giving the design a fresh but distinctly traditional appearance. It is suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads; care instructions specify professional dry cleaning only, with no washing, bleaching or ironing.

How to use it

Use the cream ground as a light starting point for a bedroom blind, curtains or upholstered headboard, then pick up the teal in painted furniture or cushions. Coral-red piping or accessories can echo the narrow warm stripes without overpowering the fine pattern.
