Ilinizas yellow

Equator Fabriciliniza/fa1/lem

Ilinizas Yellow shows a painterly botanical motif on a soft pale ground, with smoky blues, greys and olive notes framing the warmer yellow accents. The overall effect is light and airy, but the yellow gives the design a gentle lift that keeps it from feeling cool.

About this fabric

Woven in 95% cotton and 5% linen, this 230gsm fabric has enough substance for curtains, blinds and soft furnishings while still reading as a comfortable, relaxed textile. The visible surface has a natural, slightly slubby finish that suits the watercolour-style flowers and stems, giving the pattern a soft-edged look rather than a crisp print. In this yellow colourway, the warm notes appear as restrained highlights against the cream ground, so the design feels brighter and more cheerful without becoming vivid. The large floral repeat, with a horizontal repeat of about 70cm and a vertical repeat of 46.5cm, creates an expansive, decorative rhythm across wider drops.

How to use it

Use it in a room with chalky whites, misty blue upholstery or pale oak to echo the softer tones in the print. It works especially well where you want a floral statement that still feels calm and breathable.

Pair with pale woods and soft blues to let the painterly yellows lift the room.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
