Barrington yellow

Diffusion Fabricbarring/fa1/mus

Barrington Yellow shows a delicate botanical leaf pattern in a soft, mossy yellow and pale grey-blue palette on an ivory ground. The large leaf forms feel airy and organic, with a quietly relaxed finish.

About this fabric

This Diffusion fabric from Voyage Maison is composed of 45% viscose, 25% polyester, 20% cotton and 10% linen, with a usable width of 140cm and a horizontal repeat of 70cm. The weave has a lightly textured, linen-like surface that suits the flowing leaf design and gives the yellow a muted, sun-warmed quality rather than a bright citrus tone. Pale grey and soft blue outlines sit alongside the yellow motifs, adding a cool contrast that keeps the colourway calm and easy to live with. It is suitable for curtains, blinds and soft furnishings, and should be dry cleaned only; it is not fire retardant.

How to use it

Use this colourway where you want gentle colour without heaviness, especially in rooms with limestone, pale timber or off-white paint. The soft yellow leaves will lift north-facing spaces and sit comfortably with sage, pewter and chalky neutrals.

Let the pale yellow leaves bring a calm, airy lift to neutral rooms.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
