Belsay pink

Diffusion Fabricbelsay/fa1/dov

Belsay Pink brings a loose, painterly floral across a pale ground, with pink petals drifting among fine green stems. The effect is soft, fresh and gently romantic rather than overly formal.

About this fabric

Woven in 95% cotton and 5% linen, this fabric has the natural handle you would expect from a mid-weight textile, and at 230gsm it sits comfortably in the curtain and soft-furnishing category. The visible ground is a light, airy off-white that allows the brushy pink blooms to stand out without feeling heavy, while touches of coral, magenta and yellow add movement through the design. The flower heads are scattered at a large 70cm horizontal and 60cm vertical repeat, giving the pattern an easy, floating rhythm across wider drops. It is suitable for curtains, blinds and soft furnishings, and should be dry cleaned only; ironing is safe. The 140cm usable width makes it practical for room-making projects where you want the print to remain the focus.

How to use it

Use Belsay Pink for relaxed curtains in a bedroom or sitting room where its blush tones can soften daylight. It pairs especially well with chalky whites, pale timber and muted greens to echo the gentle floral palette.

Freshen a room with airy curtains or blinds that let this blush floral feel light and lively.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Belsay pink without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
