Colwin pink

Edenmuir Fabriccolwin/fa1/sor

Colwin Pink brings a washed, painterly botanical look to the Edenmuir collection, with pale pinks, minty greens and lilac notes drifting across a light ground. The overall effect is airy and softly layered rather than bold or saturated.

About this fabric

Woven in 95% cotton and 5% linen, this fabric has the easy, natural handle you would expect from a cotton-linen cloth, and it is spot clean only with iron safe care. The printed leaf motif reads as a large-scale, vertical trail, with repeated stems and translucent petal-like marks that let the pale ground remain bright. In this colourway, the pinks are gentle and powdery, balanced by cool mint, sage, mauve and occasional deeper berry accents. With a width of 145cm and a horizontal repeat of 46cm and vertical repeat of 68.8cm, it suits projects where the rhythm of the design needs room to breathe.

How to use it

Use Colwin Pink on statement cushions, occasional chairs or relaxed curtains where its soft pink wash can lift a room without becoming sugary. It pairs well with chalky neutrals, weathered woods and brushed brass for a fresh, airy finish.

Soft pastel florals with a light hand make this easy to layer into calm, contemporary interiors.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
