Cassava Blue brings a painterly leaf design to a pale ground, with watery blues, sea greens and soft yellow-lime highlights giving the fabric a fresh, lifted feel.

About this fabric

Woven in 95% cotton and 5% linen, this 230gsm fabric has enough body for soft furnishings while still reading as a comfortable mid-weight textile. The large 70cm horizontal repeat and 66.2cm vertical repeat suit the scale of the oversized leaf motif, where each rounded shape is picked out in translucent bands of blue, aqua and green. The pale background keeps the design light and airy, while the darker teal edges and fine grey stems add definition without making the pattern feel heavy. Dry clean only, with an iron-safe finish, it is suitable for curtains, blinds and soft furnishings.

How to use it

Pair this cool, botanical colourway with whitewashed woods, pale oak or crisp linen for a breezy scheme. It also works well as a lively accent against chalky neutrals or deeper navy upholstery.

Use for airy curtains or relaxed upholstery where the painterly leaf motif can take centre stage.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
