Equador blue

Equator Fabricequador/fa1/cle

Equador Blue shows a layered leaf motif in washed blue, lilac and pale green tones, set against a light ground that keeps the design feeling airy. The painterly strokes give the print a soft, brushed texture rather than a sharp tropical edge.

About this fabric

Woven in 95% cotton and 5% linen, this fabric has a natural handle and a medium weight of 230gsm, making it a practical choice for curtains, blinds and soft furnishings. The usable width is 138cm, with a total width of 145cm, and the pattern repeats every 69cm horizontally and 69.4cm vertically. In this colourway, the blue reads cool and misted rather than bright, with lilac shadows and hints of yellow-green that lift the surface. It is dry clean only and iron safe, so it suits made-up pieces that need a crisp finish without looking stiff.

How to use it

Use Equador Blue in relaxed bedrooms, sunrooms or coastal-inspired living spaces where its pale blue ground can keep the scheme feeling open. It pairs well with chalk white, washed oak and other muted blue-greens.

A fresh leaf print that brings a light, easy feel to curtains or soft furnishings.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
