Whitley blue

Edenmuir Fabricwhitley/fa1/mar

Whitley Blue shows a softly lit botanical pattern with pale ground and layered aqua, teal, olive and grey accents. The stitched, leaf-like motifs give it an airy, contemporary feel despite the generous scale.

About this fabric

This fabric is a substantial 505gsm textile in 65% viscose and 35% polyester, with a usable width of 139cm and a vertical repeat of 62cm. The design reads as a large botanical trail, drawn in a fine outline and filled with muted blue-green, olive and soft grey tones that sit lightly on the pale background. In this colourway, the blues lean cool and watery rather than strong or saturated, so the pattern feels fresh and calm. It is suitable for curtains, blinds and upholstery, and the iron-safe finish and dry-clean-only care suit considered interior use.

How to use it

Use Whitley Blue where you want pattern without heaviness: it works especially well on full-length curtains or an occasional chair in a light-filled room. Pair it with chalky whites, misty greys and natural woods to keep the aqua and sage notes feeling crisp.

A fresh aqua-toned botanical that brings light, easy colour to curtains or relaxed upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
