About this fabric
Part of Voyage Maison’s Diffusion collection, this fabric is composed of 45% viscose, 25% polyester, 20% cotton and 10% linen, with a usable width of 140cm and a Martindale of 12,000. The cloth has enough weight at 550gsm to work well for upholstery as well as curtains and blinds, while the large 70cm by 76cm repeat supports the expansive tree-and-floral pattern visible here. In this colourway, the blue reads cool and airy, with the paler ivory-grey motif sitting softly against it so the whole design feels restful rather than bright. The woven finish catches the light with a muted sheen, which helps the pale trunks and branches stand out against the blue ground. Dry clean only; iron safe; fire retardancy is not noted.
How to use it
Use Windermere Blue to soften a bedroom, sitting room or garden-facing space where the cool blue ground can echo daylight. It pairs especially well with washed oak, chalk white and quiet sage accents.
A calm blueground that suits softly tailored curtains or upholstered pieces with a breezy, country-house feel.
